The Pipe Finishing Relief Man must be able to operate all three ANDY pipe processing machines proficiently and safely. The ANDY machines cool, grind, coat and dry the cast iron pipe produced by the Pipe Department. The Pipe Finishing Relief Man monitors the process constantly for quality and provides feedback to the Pipe Machine Operators.
The Pipe Finishing Relief Man must also be able to operate all pipe bundling stations proficiently and safely. As the pipe is processed through the ANDY’s the finished pipe is continuously fed to the bundling stations for final processing and quality checks.
The ideal candidate must be reliable, get along well with fellow team members, be a self-starter, be able to communicate well, be able to work independently, must understand, implement and follow all safety policies and procedures, follow all environmental policies and procedures and follow all AB&I policies and standard operating procedures.
